It’s Jesi Wilcox behind the lens, and today I’m showing off Meg and Chuck, our engagement session winners, with their History Museum engagement session in Mobile.

But first, let’s dive into their love story. These two lovebirds knew from day one that they were meant to be together, and their journey toward saying “I Do” began four years ago. Throughout those years, they not only built a solid foundation of love but also a deep friendship that shines through in every glance and smile they share.

Now, let’s get to the proposal – because, it’s a good one! Chuck wanted to make it absolutely perfect for Meg, so he orchestrated a dreamy beach proposal at sunset. He even enlisted the help of a childhood friend, who happens to be a talented photographer, to capture the moment.

On July 26th, 2022, as the sun painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, Chuck led Meg down a pier adorned with candles and photographs of their journey together. The photographer hid in plain sight, ready to capture the magic without Meg suspecting a thing.

As the waves gently whispered their secrets, Chuck got down on one knee and asked Meg to be his forever. With tears of joy and happiness in their eyes, they sealed the moment with a sweet kiss. And the best part? They had Whataburger milkshakes afterward, continuing a heartwarming tradition they had developed during the challenges of 2020.

We kicked things off outside, capturing the essence of the museum’s architecture as a backdrop to their love story. Then, we ventured inside, where Meg and Chuck got cozy amidst the museum’s lobby. The intimate setting allowed their love to shine even brighter, and we captured some incredibly heartfelt photographs.
