5 Reasons I Am In Love With Photographing Intimate Weddings
Are you dying to know the 5 reasons I am in love with photographing intimate weddings? As a wedding photographer, I’ve been privileged to photograph weddings of all sizes across the South East. A few weddings have stuck with me and this Louisiana waterside wedding was absolutely one of them!
Claire and Furqan filled their wedding with unique details, handcrafted meals and stunning details.
Here are 5 reasons why I am in love with intimate weddings like this one and why I’d love to photograph yours.
1. Oh the details!!
Due to less spent on catering, smaller weddings mean your budget can reach much further. In essence, you can invest in the little details that mean the most to you. For instance, Claire and Furqan created a custom stained glass arch for their ceremony and matched it with personalized glass sun catchers for their guests.
2. The guest list.
Intimate weddings are made for the most important guests and filled with the individuals who will walk beside you for the next half century. You get to spend more time with each of your guests when there are a few less.
3. The portraits.
Thirdly, with fewer guests to great, you can allot a little more time for bride and groom portraits. I’ll capture amazing editorial images either way, but being able to step away for a few minutes for sunset photos is a little easier when you have a smaller wedding.
4. The quiet moments.
With fewer people around, it’s easier for you to take a quiet moment away to prepare to take your forever vows. I am always an advocate for my couples to prepare their hearts and take a few minutes to step away, read a letter from their fiancé and simply breathe.
5. The editorial bespoke images.
In essence, small weddings are where I can follow you and focus on capturing bespoke editorial images that tell the authentic story of your day without splitting my attention to capture constant candids of your many guests. In other words, fewer guests mean more great candids of those who are there. In short, this means more attention on you for artistic bespoke wedding photography.
